NEW YORK, N.Y. - Purchase College sophomore
Channing Williams was named to the Men's Volleyball All-Skyline Conference First Team, it was announced Tuesday.

The sophomore also shattered the previous single-season record for kills among Purchase players, as he surpassed the old mark of 371 with eight games to go.
During his 33 games this year, Channing recorded double-digit kills in 32 matches - the only time he didn't was the first game of the year.Â
Outside of his kill count, Williams dominated the Skyline in nearly every category - leading in kills per set, points per set and overall points, tying for 6th in aces, fourth in total blocks and second in digs.
During the season, the conference recognized him five times (Player of the Week once, Honor Roll four times), which built on his All-Skyline Conference Second Team finish as a freshman in 2024.
With Williams carrying the offense, the Panthers finished the year 17-16 overall, which tied the program record for wins in a season. In conference play, they went 10-8 and secured the No.5 seed in the Skyline Playoffs, which marked the squad's second-straight playoff birth.
Up next for Channing and the Blue and Orange is the First Round of the playoffs tonight (4/8), as the squad faces Manhattanville University at 6 p.m.
