PURCHASE, N.Y. - Dear student-athletes, parents, fans and alumni,

Welcome back to Purchase College Athletics! It has been a whirlwind of year to say the least.

Over the last 365 days, we didn't know when we would get back to this point. But, I am happy to announce that with the hard-work and dedication from our student-athletes and staff, spring sports will officially return to Purchase College this semester.

We are just as excited as you are to welcome back our teams this month, but with that opportunity comes great responsibility for all of us. We didn't just get here by accident or by chance.

Purchase College Athletics has worked tirelessly over the past year with several different health departments, Purchase College Administration, the Skyline Conference, the NCAA and the State University of New York to create a comprehensive COVID-19 safety plan to allow sports to return Purchase College.

With that in mind, it is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that at this time, no spectators will be allowed at any games or events this semester.

As a parent of student-athletes, this decision was not easily made. I know how badly student-athletes want their parents and friends to be there to cheer them on and vice versa. If anything changes in near future and fans are allowed back on campus this semester, that will communicated to everyone as soon as we know.

But until that happens, the best way to cheer on your Panthers is with Live Stats and Live Video, which wil be provided for nearly every home and road game this semester. To see that list with all the links, click here.

If you miss any Purchase College home games and wish to view them on demand, click the link here to see our full video archive. And don't forget, you can also follow our teams with daily and weekly updates on our website and social media pages.

Our main concern has been and always will be the health and safety of our student-athletes and staff. I hope you can understand that as we progress this semester and continue to cheer us on and support us in the future.

We look forward to welcoming you back one day soon to cheer on our 17 intercollegiate varsity teams.

Until then, stay safe and be well!

Sincerely,

Chris Bisignano
Purchase College Director of Athletics and Recreation
