PURCHASE, NY - After much consideration, it is with a heavy heart that Purchase College Athletics announces today, out of an abundance of caution for our student-athletes and staff, that it will not be participating in a winter sports schedule for the 2020-21 season.

With the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the state of New York and surrounding areas, playing winter sports safely just isn't possible at the moment.

The health and safety of you, our student-athletes, has and always will be the most important thing to our department. And please remember that we are always here for you if you need us.

We look forward to returning next season, but until then, stay safe and be well.
